Early Life
Dmitri Mendeleev was born in the 8th of February 1834 grew up in Verkhnie Aremzyani, Serbia. He grew up as a catholic, but later on he became a deism. This is a belief in which you find an existence of a creator by studying nature. It is an unknown fact of how many siblings he, had but he either had 11, 13, 14 or 17 siblings. His father became blind and lost his teaching position. His family was suffering from financial problems. His mother was forced to work at an abandoned glass factory.
Later Life
Between 1859-1861 he worked on capillarity of liquids and the workings of spectroscope in Heidburg. In August 1861 he wrote his first book on the spectroscope. In April 1862 he married Feozva Leshcheva, but unfortunately they got divorced in 1882 when Dmitri started courting a lady named Anna Ivanova Popova. He also help start the first oil refinery in Russia. In 1907, Mendeleev died at the age of 72.
